Apple iPhone 6 Price in Bangladesh and Full Specifications

On September 9, 2014, Apple launched the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus, with both smartphones going on sale in the first wave of nations on September 19. The two phones also included faster CPUs, sharper cameras, and NFC connectivity for Apple Pay, in addition to bigger displays and a whole new iPad-style design with an extremely thin frame and curved surfaces. In this article, we will discuss the iPhone 6 price in Bangladesh and its full specifications in detail.

However, several iOS 8 features and functionalities will only operate on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus due to the more powerful technology included in these newer iPhones. This new functionality, which includes support for Apple Pay, makes it a good idea to buy one of the new iPhones.

Apart from the improved ways in which the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus may use iOS 8, the iPhone 6 varies from prior iPhone models in several ways. It, for example, runs on Apple’s A8 CPU, which is significantly quicker and more powerful than the A7 processor seen in prior iPhone 5s models.

In reality, the product strategy is the same: a high-priced device with few concessions in any category. I’m sure Apple wanted to make the iPhone 6 exactly as it is, without cutting costs or thinking about how to keep up with the competition in terms of features.

You understand what I mean when I say that the quality of the components and optimization take precedence over the number of gigabytes of RAM available. I also believe that to differentiate and keep something, there are details in the Plus model that will be applied in the following “6S” from time to time.

For the first time, Apple has given up on-screen growth with the eighth generation of iPhone phones. It seems that there was no other choice to continue growing or to fulfill what the public wanted.

I honestly love the size of my latest iPhones, and finding that the newer models are significantly larger has put me off a bit in the renovation process, but I had to wait until I had one in hand to jump to bigger conclusions.

Although I started by introducing myself as a user among the ingredients of the analysis, do not worry; this is a job as objective as possible, intending to be demanding in each section. I will take the opportunity to reflect on the positive experiences that I have had on other phones in recent months and apply them to the new iPhone.

Apple recognizes that its phones must grow in size, but the company maintains its product philosophy of high-quality materials and components. There is also a lack of confidence in its resistance due to the price.

Design of the iPhone 6

There is no going back with this. We may come across products like the 5C, but its flagship phone is always going to be a premium product. A significant design change, but the very essence that allows it to remain an icon.

It is also true that its materials and qualities were almost unrivaled by the competition, and now everyone is putting metal in their high-end phones and focusing on the overall quality. Despite that, the iPhone is still the premium phone par excellence.

iPhone 6 design

The most significant difference here is in size, particularly for current iPhone users who are accustomed to something quite small for what is popular in the market. The screen grows, but the phone does not do it in proportion, thanks to the cutout in the lower and upper bands:

In addition to the quality of materials and a new, but recognizable design, the most striking dimension is the thickness: 6.7 millimeters in a metallic phone, and with so much technology, it is to be appreciated. This section derives directly from the quality of construction and resistance achieved by Apple, with an episode called “Bendgate” that is filling many pages, and that will continue to do so. We will talk about it later.

Returning to thinness, if we add rounder lines to that, we have a very nice phone to pick up and use. The low weight they have achieved, of 129 grams, also helps. Somehow, we could say that there is an inheritance from the iPad Mini in the new iPhones. On the negative side, it is quite elusive, so we’d better get a good cover (the original Apple is a great solution).

To finish helping with that feeling of a phone without rectangular areas, even the screen is slightly curved, especially noticeable in the margins, which seem to enter towards the body of the iPhone. In terms of the screen bezels, they are reduced compared to previous iPhones, but they are larger than in many last-generation Android phones.

Without taking a lot of factors into account, stopping exclusively on the frames is like taking a look at a Sharp Aquos Crystal and the new iPhone, and it is like looking at a phone from different generations. There is a lot of room for improvement here for Apple, as well as for other companies.

The curvature of the screen and sides stand out, as does the excellent integration of plastic and metal. We don’t like the antennas in the back very much.

If we forget about prices and go directly to compare the iPhone 6 with two competing phones that have a similar or equal screen size and also have the latest technology, we find that Apple’s product is larger, and Touch ID may be largely to blame. The button is the same as on the iPhone 5s, although the click is more noticeable.

It is striking to find that Apple leaves such a visible edge in the design of a product. We refer to the camera. We don’t think it’s an unappealing item, or that it’s poorly resolved, but it certainly breaks the smooth line on the back of the phone. Relax, the camera is protected by sapphire).

Apple could have made a thicker phone to cover that bulge, but it would still be thin, and incidentally, they could have included a larger battery, which is not exactly its strongest point.

Growing the screen means that the buttons are organized accordingly. For this reason, the power button (as before) becomes on the right side, undoubtedly more accessible. The volume buttons are now longer and more rectangular (like on the iPad or 5C) to accommodate the new slimmer, rounded, and larger body.

In terms of color, we have the same options as we did with the iPhone 5S: silver, gold, and space gray. beautiful, but do not forget about cases, covers, or any protective element.

iPhone 6 Thickness

It is a personal issue, but I like the rear aspect of the previous iPhone more than that of the new ones, with some rear lines that contrast with the aluminum casing in which the antennas are housed. especially in the curved areas and in the lower and upper areas. A very similar-looking phone like the HTC One M8 solves this issue better.

When the phone was introduced, I got the idea of a larger product. In the case of the 4.7-inch iPhone, I think it is the ideal size for most people, and after having used it for a long time, I have been satisfied with its dimensions (in many operations I can continue to use it with one hand). Although I think there is room for improvement.

For example, with the resistance, since Apple has not made its new phones thinking that we are going to put them underwater, This point places it in the area of high-end phones that have not wanted to bet on it and leaves the way for Sony and Samsung to continue reigning in the other.

In the last few days, you have seen that the “Bendgate” phenomenon does not stop appearing in the media. The alarms have been sounding, and Apple has wanted to stop them with a statement in which it tells us that there have been only nine cases of people with problems–millions have been sold. Tests have been run, and the reality is that it is weaker than many, but so is an HTC One (with which it shares aluminum). Nothing has happened to us with the iPhone 6, and I would not like to give more importance to the matter.

iPhone 6 Display

Apple has seen the need to evolve to a larger size, but keep what it already has built. In the case of the iPhone 6, those 4.7 inches of the screen had to contain several pixels that would allow it to achieve a pixel density identical to that used since the iPhone 4 (2010).

Or what is the same as a Retina Display with its 326ppi? Mission accomplished thanks to the peculiar resolution of 1,334750 pixels. In it, the contents look the same as before, with the same proportions and definition, but with a larger workspace.

The Android competition in the high-end plays with other values, such as the one that most dares with Full HD on similar screen size, causing them to go up to 400ppi.Someone could understand that there is a slight improvement in it. What I do not understand is why some go up to QHD resolutions, which right now do nothing but spend more and perform worse.

iPhone 6 Screen

The IPS panel of the new iPhone will not disappoint anyone. Apple is very clear that here they have to be the best and opt for the most capable component in the main display parameters. They have always done it this way, and the reality is that competition improves, but it hardly leads to better solutions.

The screen has Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and since the information on the screen seems to be floating on the phone, there are very few intermediate elements between our fingers and the pixels, or at least that is the feeling I have.

What I like the most about iPhones is that you know that they will look good outdoors. Apple takes care of this detail to the maximum, and with the new model, it will not be less. The brightness levels are close to 600 nits, not much higher than those of the iPhone 5S, but enough to value having a larger screen.

Next to my iPhone 5, I can not say anything else that looks noticeably better, especially in brightness and contrast levels (1,400:1), almost doubling my current phone but without reaching the AMOLED level in black (yes, nothing purple). In addition, two other sections stand out, which are color reproduction and viewing angles, thanks to the pixel technology implemented.

We can speak wonders with our personal experience, but it is also good to give credit to specialized laboratories such as DisplayMate, who are testing phones by phone as they appear on the market. For them, it is the best LCD screen on the market, only surpassed by the AMOLED of the Galaxy Note 4. I think most of us will agree on the screen quality of both devices.

As for its operation, it is another distinctive feature of the iPhone. The screen responds to us as if it were alive. If we stop to look at the settings, there is an option called “Display Zoom” that allows us to enlarge the interface, or we can add a new row of icons.

Dual-domain pixels

When Apple introduced the phone, they told us that it featured a technology that improves viewing angles, known as Dual-domain pixels. It consists of the fact that the pixels are not aligned flat, but rather have a “v” shape, which makes them more visible from different angles. It also makes the color changeless, as is usual when looking at a screen from different angles.

It is not something that they have invented; it has been seen on IBM monitors and even on phones like the HTC One M7 or One X, a similar pixel configuration is used. If you are wondering how things work on the iPhone 6, it is one of the best phones on the market in terms of viewing angles.

Performance and battery life on the iPhone 6

It is the section where I have been least surprised. It works like my iPhone, somewhat looser in transitions and loading of applications, but little else. But it is clear that inside there is a lot of news with the arrival of the Apple A8, which will allow you to live updated much longer than current models. Benches and games will also appear, showing that they know how to bring out their sleeping power.

For the Apple A8, we have a special article with information that I do not intend to place here and make the analysis more extensive. You can learn more about components, design, and performance in it. Apple tells us that, in general, the A8 is 25% faster than the A7.

iPhone 6 Battery

But we are going to present the main points, such as that it is a dual-core processor with a 64-bit architecture, developed with 20nm manufacturing technology. The speed at which those cores move – an evolution of Cyclone – is estimated to be 1.4GHz.

The graphic power of the equipment is much higher — 50% — but part of it is diluted in dealing with the higher screen resolution. The graphics are PowerVR GX6450, with four cores inside. It is the GPU that is superior to that used in the iPad Air and iPhone 5s.

We already know that Apple builds its teams based on the optimization and needs they have, adjusting to the maximum. But we are surprised to find ourselves with a gig of RAM again. It is not that I am a lover of the flashy numbers that are seen in the competition, but I feel like a small amount to manage many processes, or for what has to come in the future. In applications, as widely used as Safari, it is already an obvious problem.

I’m not in love with benchmarks either, but I have verified how in 3DMark it behaves better than a Galaxy S5, or an Oppo Find 7. It also does the same in Geekbench 3, or the load (not execution) of demanding games, it is noticeably quicker.

The fact that the applications run faster is also related to the fact that they were designed for 64-bit systems. Metal will also help, as it is the new programming language that will get performance from the GPU.

In terms of storage memory, we have three options: 16, 64, and 128GB. For the price they asked us, they could well have started the offer with 32GB. In addition, the 16GB model quickly falls short if you are an average user.

On connectivity, the iPhone is well-armed. Available LTE connectivity is Cat 4, thanks to a Qualcomm MDM9625M modem. For the first time, we have 802.11ac Wi-Fi as well as NFC. The problem is that right now it is closed hardware for developers and it is only used for Apple Pay.

The new M8 coprocessor introduces the height between the parameters to be recorded.

We finish with the additional processors that have been added, such as the evolution from the M7 to the M8. It is a coprocessor in charge of dealing with everything that has to do with movement, with data from sensors and a barometer (a novelty in the iPhone, it allows estimating height).

We do not forget the sound, a piece that seems to be key in a company that has spent a million on Beats and that does not seem to have anything revolutionary to contribute to the new iPhone. Neither the headphones are spectacular (they are good), nor the speaker is going to mark any era (much better HTC), but everything works very well.

The sound quality of calls is also very good. There are no drawbacks, although it is also true that the iPhone has never been the best phone in this regard. Reading about the sound quality in an interesting Mashable article, the new iPhone is not working with high-resolution audio (24-bit/192kHz), although it could, as it happens with some models from LG, Samsung, or Sony. In any case, the iPhone 6 serves as a 24-bit/96kHz sound source, which is already superior to a CD.

It is very difficult for me to evaluate the autonomy of a phone in a test of this type. I keep playing with the camera and new functionalities, clearly leaving me out of normal use of the phone. This way, I will run out of power in no time.

Something more battery to achieve somewhat better autonomy than the iPhone 5s, nothing revolutionary.

The theory says that having a larger battery—1,810 mAh—should report better numbers, but it is also true that the screen is considerably larger, which would balance things out a bit. Apple’s numbers speak of an evident gain in WiFi – one hour, and somewhat less under operator networks.

What is a reality is that the optimization of iOS and Apple’s hardware is very good (Apple A8, 20nm). We have an autonomy similar to the main competing phones, which move above 2,500mAh. The only one that plays in the same league as the Galaxy Alpha, with 1,860 mAh.

If you ask about laboratory tests, I do not find much sense in them. They carry out processes that have little to do with the habitual use of a telephone, and not everyone has the same preferences. If you want a serious example, you have it at Anandtech, where the iPhone performs at a very good level compared to the competition, slightly better than the 5s. In my experience, I agree with that conclusion.

Until we analyze it after a month of use, I can anticipate that the battery consumption and duration have a lot to do with those of an iPhone 5s. There is no big change: to charge it at the end of the day if we have given it intensive use, or at noon the next day if we have not demanded too much.

One thing is clear to me, although they manage to improve the numbers with updates (iOS 8 was not born very well), whoever seeks a significant gain in autonomy can find that in the iPhone 6 Plus, with its 2915mAh battery.

A word about chargers: the phone comes with a 5W charger (the standard one), but it is possible to charge it with a more powerful one like the iPad – 10 W–, which significantly speeds up the process (especially in the 6 Plus).

Software for iPhone 6

The new iPhones are presented with the new iOS, as usual, and although this time a few more bugs than expected have appeared, details are beginning to be seen that take advantage of the larger screens.

With it, it also opens up greater possibilities for third-party applications. Here we find the introduction of Continuity and the premiere of Apple Pay, the house payment system. The first point is as big a step for the company as the growth of the screens itself since the doors are opened to new keyboards, new ways of sharing, and ultimately, being able to choose alternatives to those that come standard.

iOS is still iOS. The most important change comes with the opening to developers.

There is no change in the interface; we are still facing the same main elements of interaction and practically the same possibilities. Any iOS user will feel like a fish in water, and newcomers will easily learn the platform.

As for the image and design, there are no changes either; they were made in iOS 7, leaving everything as flat and light as possible. On taking advantage of the new screen dimensions, there are some possibilities to highlight:

*Reachability or “Reach”, is more interesting in the plus model. What it does is move the upper part of the screen down to allow you to use the phone with one hand. It is removed with a slight double tap on the physical button.

Display Zoom, as we already explained in the screen section, is a way to make the interface elements bigger, or to stay with a new row of icons.

A couple of details that try to take advantage of the new screen size, but I think there is still a lot of space to take advantage of in the new iPhones.

Although they all work, many applications are now adapting to iOS 8, and the new iPhones, so patience. As for interesting news to use on a day-to-day basis, we are not going to extend ourselves too much and carry out an analysis of the new version here, but we can take into account the following points:

*The notification center becomes more complete

We have already gotten used to it with iOS 7. It was released with a very “Android” approach to the idea of having notifications grouped in a drop-down bar. With iOS 8, it has been redesigned with a clearer view of the elements and the possibility of including “widgets.” I have never been interested in widgets on any platform, much less if they put them in a notification bar, but there they are and we will have to see how they evolve.

* Universal searches

Or, what is the same, Spotlight Search, which is accessible with a single gesture from top to bottom and broadens the range of results? Search on the phone, between contacts and applications, but also on home services such as iTunes, or external sites such as Wikipedia or news sites. It takes into account the context in which we find ourselves.

Responding to notifications

Another useful feature in iOS 8 is quick interaction with notifications. For example, a message arrives, and a balloon pops up with the notification because, without leaving what we are doing, we can give you an answer.

Siri is smarter.

First of all, Siri now allows us to wake up the phone with a “Hey Siri”. It is not new in this integrated voice recognition in operating systems, but iOS.

The peculiarity here is that it only works with the phone connected to the power network. We assume that the functionality consumes a lot of power. The other relevant thing is the integration of Shazam in Siri, helping us recognize songs.

Camera on the iPhone 6

I do not want to make the analysis an infinite article on the specifications and possibilities of the iSight camera. I have already prepared an article that I consider complete. I invite you to take a look if you want to expand. Here we are going to go over its main points a bit and go directly to the experience and tests carried out.

iPhone 6 Camera

Apple decided to stay with the same 8 megapixels as its previous model already had. Unconcerned about the possibility of increasing that number, it was more interested in gaining in quality, speed, and efficiency. The idea is quite complicated: to achieve the best quality in photos and videos without the user having to be an expert on the subject.

For me, the camera is the best part of the phone, next to the screen. The truth is that I am somewhat conditioned since I like how Apple and Sony make their cameras, but when it is like that, everything works perfectly, and the results are fantastic. Compared to previous models, we improved in low-light situations, in the video, and in focus.

It is precisely in the focus that is where the grace of the new sensor is, since they have incorporated a detection system per phase that allows it to be much faster than previous generations, and than other competing phones. There are a lot of Focus Pixels spread out across the pixels. They replace some of the green ones. This makes the process go a lot faster.

We must also assess the size of the new iPhone 6, with its extreme thinness, in which they have managed to incorporate what, for me, is the best solution in a mobile. Beyond the camera itself, there is also the software and hardware developed for the occasion. Speaking of design, not everything is perfect and the protrusion of the camera sticking out on the back is not exactly the best resolution of the phone (at least it is protected with sapphire).

The iPhone 6 stands out from the competition and its bigger brothers when the lights go out, with lower noise, good detail, and fast performance. In this regard, I think there is only one phone above, the Nokia Lumia 1020. By the way, the lens of the Apple phone is made up of five elements and has a maximum aperture of f/2.2. We still have the effective two-tone flash for when we need it.

The panoramas are a mode of operation that, being well resolved, I love, but in most of the phones that I have had the opportunity to test, they are a procedure. Poor quality and excessive sweeping, which in the case of the iPhone, does not usually happen, If possible, they have been improved with automatic exposure adjustment and the resulting size of 43 megapixels.

The only downside that we can find with the photos is their final size, not because of the quality, but because of the possible need to make them larger digitally. In practice, nothing serious.

We do not forget the front camera, here called the Facetime camera, which happens to have the possibility of making bursts. It is a 1.2-megapixel module with an f/2.2 lens (2.4 in the 5S).

iPhone 6 Camera review

The camera interface is straightforward compared to what we’re seeing in the competition, but still very capable (we have HDR, auto shooting, bursts). We especially like the ability to change the exposure by touch when choosing the focus point.

Video is one of the strengths of the new iPhone.

The video mode is as important to Apple as the photo mode, and this is how it shows in each of the possibilities presented to us. In the iPhone 6, we do not have a stabilizer in the optics as in the Plus, but the reality is that it works very well. The high rate of frames per second that we can register in each resolution also helps:

*1080p at 60 images per second. Unfortunately, when YouTube plays the video, I notice a loss of definition (the license plates are perfectly visible in the original) and frames per second, but you can still get an idea of some shots that need stabilization, or with more complicated light:

240 frames per second (120 with the iPhone 5S). The results are spectacular.

We also have a time-lapse mode that is also very well resolved (1,920 1,080 pixels).

Apple has not wanted to jump into the 4K phenomenon that both Korean and Chinese phones are capable of managing.

The video camera is quite fast and automatic, both with exposure and focus (continuous). The color that it captures is realistic (some would even say that it is not very flashy), the details are quite high, and the sound is accompanied by a good note (clearly better than in previous iPhones).

FAQs on iPhone 6

How do you start an iPhone 6?

* Switch off your iPhone.
*Hold down the volume and side buttons together until the power off slider displays.
*After dragging the slider, your smartphone will switch off after 30 seconds.
*Press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo to turn your smartphone back on.

Will iPhone 6 still work in 2021?

The iPhone 6s has 2GB of RAM, which should be plenty to handle the latest iOS 13 upgrade. After that, the hardware of the phone will no longer be capable of supporting any future software updates. That indicates Apple will stop supporting the iPhone 6s in 2021.

Is iPhone 6 a 3G or 4G?

Both the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus have 4G capabilities. The device will reveal this next to the signal indicator in the upper left-hand corner of the display if the cellular internet connection is 4G-rated. However, 3G, E, or GPRS may also be shown. However, they indicate a slower connection speed that varies by region.

Is the iPhone 6 waterproof?

The iPhone 6 isn’t waterproof, and the iPhone 6s isn’t either unless you use a cover. Even a little drop into a sink, pool, or toilet can cause water damage to your iPhone 6, but you can rescue your iPhone 6 or iPhone 6s by acting quickly.

Review on iPhone 6

The points that I liked the most about the phone are the screen and the camera, apart from specifications and inventions, I can’t find another phone on the market that is better in these two aspects. For the rest, very complete, it does not waver in any section.

The new iPhones are a worthwhile upgrade, in every section. Only small phone lovers like me lose to the new generation

Well yes, the price is very high, and it is even more so if we think that the 16GB version makes little sense, since any average user will be filled in a matter of days. We could also have asked for a revolution in autonomy, but at least it is in line with the previous model.

Evaluating iOS 8, it was born with bugs, quick solutions, openness to developers, and the first step towards bigger screens. Knowing everything that is being innovated in the competition, I still like the simplicity of use, the optimization, and the spectacular ecosystem present.

Would you change it to having the previous iPhone? Well, it is something quite personal, but if you can do it, then jump in some aspects is quite large, but we also lose comfort with growth. If you have any doubts, I would wait for a 6S that finishes enchanting you with its novelties.

Possibly the appearance of these phones possibly will bring back some users who went to other platforms looking for different things, such as the larger screen size. Sales speak for themselves, a product with a very high price, selling as no competitor can.

What am I going to do? I will wait a while, I am very happy with the size and performance that the previous model gives me, and I do not have the budget for changes. Of course, the new iPhone is better in each section, and if tomorrow I warmed up and got one, I would be fully satisfied, especially with the camera.

From the article above we discussed iPhone 6 price in Bangladesh and the iPhone 6 full specifications. If what you are concerned about is the increase in size concerning an iPhone 5 / 5s, give the 6 a try, it is much more achieved than it seems – it just seems less comfortable to me because of its width -. Of course, we leave the Plus for those who want a large phone.
